  • The Vermont Concussion Collaborative is a multi-disciplinary group of health care providers working together for our patients’ care, with a focus on recovery from concussion and mild traumatic brain injury (mtbi).

  • The VTCC was formed out of necessity by a group of providers who were working together on complicated mtbi cases.

  • Concussion affects the person on many different levels, which requires a collaboration of treatment plans.

  • Our communication and approach of combined, interdependent systems results in more timely, thoughtful, and effective care for our patients.

  • We experience an increase in treatment planning efficiency, patient progress, and improved health outcomes because we are addressing the different systems affected by a concussion/mtbi. Our goal is to return the patient to their highest level of functional, occupational, recreational, and personal well being.
